A few thoughts…

Every now and then I shower think about things while I shower.  Things other than conditioner and soap, that is.  Today was one such occasion so I thought I might just go ahead and share.

I think first things first, I suddenly realized that this Sunday is my 24th (oy) birthday.  Note: I’m not joking about the ‘suddenly realized‘ part…and yes, I do realize that my birthday is the same date every year, thank you.  Now, considering I’ve been going through what I like to call my quarter-life crisis for the past few years already, I can’t imagine 24 is going to be the magic year I finally accept the fact that I’m aging.

Ok, so I may be overreacting (doubtful), but I have to be prepared that this is my inevitable future, no?  Well, in any case, I’ve already saved several “Aging Gracefully” websites in my bookmark bar, so too late for you to dissuade my aging crisis.

Apparently, women come into their greatness after menopause.  Can’t wait.  And now I’ve ensured that you’ll also be reading up on aging ladies.  (See what I did there?)

Thinking about getting old got me thinking about high school which then made me think of Glee.

I think it might just be me, but the Glee version of “Friday”, yes the Rebecca Black song, is REALLY catchy.  Like, repeat-on-my-iPod catchy.

Now do you believe me?!!!  Fine then, haters gonna hate.

Also, I don’t know what this means for me, but I now have a Master of Science.  Considering I have no idea where I will be when my lease is up at the end of July, this really carries no weight in my book.
